Hello! My name is Corinne! I am the creator and owner of CVR Life of Learning. The purpose of CVR Life of Learning is to help you achieve your dreams! I am here to support you as you apply to graduate school, and/or learn languages.
I aim to share my love of languages and my experiences in graduate school, as well as those around me and those that I've helped. In all that I do, I work to be encouraging and professional.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, a Master's degree in Linguistics and Teaching ESL and I am currently a PhD student in Linguistics. I speak English and Spanish fluently, and am learning Italian and Chinese. The languages I do research with are Mayan K'iche, Tz'utujil, and Kaqchikel from Guatemala. I have taught college for three years so far and have extensive tutoring experiences in ESL, English Writing, and Spanish.
Language Learning, and Applying to Graduate School can be complicated and frustrating, but I am here to help you along the way and provide assistance. I love languages, I love being in Graduate School (mostly), I love teaching, and I would love to help you reach your goals.
Whether you are at the beginning of this process for the first time, or stuck in the middle, I would love to help you! Leave a comment or send me an email to tell me about your goals and I will be so happy to walk you through the process!
